So the new Yellowcard album came, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes. After a 4 hour listening session by myself, I’m obviously extremely happy that I got it. But as of now, I’m trying to decipher the music and the lyrics like I did for the past 3 albums. It’s going to take awhile, but I know I will appreciate it like I do the other albums. 4 hours is not enough, I just have to keep listening and eventually learn the lyrics so I can do all that stuff.
I’m slowly getting it, actually just now, I figured out what a specific part of a song meant (lyrically). This may take me a year to figure out the whole album and every single word, but I don’t mind, because during my listening session there was something in my head that was telling me I needed to change one more outlook in my life. Already forming plans… for the end of senior year.
It’s going to be an interesting next few months.
